The Deals
CMR Surgical closed a financing round of over $200M through a combination of equity and debt, supported by Trinity Capital and all the company’s existing major investors. The U.K.-based company develops a robotically assisted surgical device that controls endoscopic instruments.
Nuro raised $106M in Series E funding from T. Rowe Price, Fidelity, Tiger Global, Greylock, and XN. The Mountain View-based company develops autonomous driving tech.
Aiper raised $100M in a financing round led by Fluidra. The Atlanta-based company produces robotic pool cleaners.
BRINC raised $75M in funding led by Index Ventures, with participation from Motorola Solutions, Mike Volpi and Figma’s CEO and founder, Dylan Field. The Seattle-based company domestically manufactures emergency response drones.
Parallel Systems raised $38M in Series B funding led by Anthos Capital, with participation from Collaborative Fund, Congruent Ventures, and Riot Ventures. The Los Angeles-based company is building autonomous electric rail for short-distance freight.
Phantom Neuro raised $19M in Series A funding led by Ottobock with participation from Breakout Ventures, Draper Associates, LionBird Ventures, Time BioVentures, Risk and Return, Actual VC, METIS Innovative, e1 Ventures, Jumpspace, MainSheet Ventures, and Brown Advisory. The Austin-based company has developed a muscle-machine interface that offers natural control to robotic systems in real-world environments.
Glacier raised $16M in Series A funding, led by Ecosystem Integrity Fund with participation from AlleyCorp, Alumni Ventures, Amazon Climate Pledge Fund, Cox Exponential, Elysium, New Enterprise Associates, One Small Planet, Overlap Holdings, Overture, VSC Ventures, and Working Capital Fund. The San Francisco-based company is building next-gen recycling robots.
Scout AI raised $15M in seed funding led by Align Ventures and Booz Allen Ventures, with participation from Draper Associates, Decisive Point Ventures, Perot Jain, Sigmas Group, Evolution VC, BVVC, Habitat Partners, Piedmont Capital Investments, FJ Labs, Revelry Venture Partners, Monte Carlo Capital, Expansion VC, and Gaingels. The Sunnyvale-based company is building a foundation model for defense robotics.
Blue Water Autonomy raised $14M in seed funding from Eclipse, Riot, and Impatient Ventures. The Boston-based company develops autonomous naval ships.
Xaba has raised a $6M seed investment led by Hitachi Ventures with participation from Hazelview Ventures, BDC, Exposition Ventures, and Impact Venture Capital. The Toronto-based startup is building synthetic brains for industrial robots with zero code.
Beagle Systems raised €5M in seed funding co-led by AENU (via partner Fabian Heilemann) and PT1 (via partner Nikolas Samios). The Hamburg-based company offers Drone-as-a-Service and on-demand aerial data.
Next Generation Robotics raised €4.5M in Series A funding led by CDP Venture Capital with participation from RIF-T, AVM’s Cysero Fund, Kilometro Rosso, SIMEST, Pariter Robotics, and RoboIT. The Italy-based company develops robotic systems to support railway operations.
Theseus raised $4.3M in seed funding in a round led by First Round Capital, with additional backing from Y Combinator and Lux Capital. The San Francisco-based company develops drone components that don't rely on GPS.
Cosmic Robotics raised a $4 million pre-seed round led by Giant Ventures with participation from HCVC, MaC Ventures, and several angel investors, including Azeem Azhar, Aarthi Ramamurthy, and Nate Williams. The San Francisco-based company has developed a robotic assistant that does the heavy lifting on solar job sites.
DBR77 raised €3.5M in seed investment led by ff Venture Capital (ffVC) with participation from NCBR Investment Fund ASI S.A. (NIF), RKK-Investment, and KIROI. The Poland-based company integrates IoT, digital twins, and automation into a single, versatile environment.
Azalea Robotics raised a $3.5M Seed round led by Zero Infinity Partners, with participation from Vantage Futures, Y Combinator, SOMA Capital, and others. The Berkeley, California company is building a robotic baggage handler for airports.
Durin raised $3.4M in a pre-seed round led by 8090 Industries with participation from 1517, Andreessen Horowitz, Bedrock, Champion Hill, Contrary, Day One Ventures, and Lux Capital. The El Segundo-based company is building automated drilling rigs for critical minerals exploration.
