The Deals
Figure raised a $675M Series B at a $2.6B valuation from Microsoft, OpenAI Startup Fund, NVIDIA, Jeff Bezos (through Bezos Expeditions), Parkway Venture Capital, Intel Capital, and others. The Bay Area company is building “general purpose humanoid” robots for industrial use cases.
Medical Microinstruments raised $110M in Series C funding, led by Fidelity Management & Research Company. The Italian startup’s technology allows surgeons to replicate the movements of a human hand at micro scale.
Project 3 Mobility raised a $107M Series A led by TASARU Mobility Investments. The Zagreb, Croatia-based company is building what it calls an “ecosystem of urban autonomous mobility.”
Starship Technologies raised $90M in a funding round co-led by Plural and Iconical. The company, which is based in Latvia and the UK, builds autonomous delivery robots.
Uhnder announced a $50M Series D led by ACME Capital with participation from Magna, Qualcomm Ventures, El Camino Capital, Monta Vista Capital, Sagitta Ventures, and HT Capital. The Austin company creates radar sensors for autonomous mobility solutions in the automotive, industrial, and defense sectors.
Elroy Air raised $48.9M in funding in a round led by Shield Capital. The South San Francisco company is building an end-to-end autonomous vertical take-off and landing aerial cargo system.
RobCo raised a $42.5M Series B from Lightspeed and additional investors. The Munich, Germany-based company develops flexible robotic hardware kits for various applications in SME manufacturing, such as machine loading and unloading or palletizing.
10Beauty raised $38M in funding, including a newly closed $17M extension on their Series A, led by Shine Capital. The Burlington, MA company’s first product is a fully automated manicure machine.
Brain Corp raised $32M from Tennant Company as part of an exclusive technology agreement to accelerate its autonomous floor cleaning innovation and adoption. Tennant currently has more than 6,500 floor cleaning robots in the field, powered by Brain Corp’s technology.
Monumental raised $25M in a funding round co-led by Plural and Hummingbird. The Dutch company is building robots for construction sites, with an initial focus on bricklaying.
Daedalus raised a $21M Series A round led by NGP Capital, with participation from existing investors including Khosla Ventures and Addition. The company builds small factories for precision industrial parts, with a robotized material flow.
Hippo Harvest raised a $21M Series B led by Standard Investments, with participation from Congruent Ventures, Amazon's Climate Pledge Fund, Hawthorne Food Ventures, and Energy Impact Partners. The San Francisco agtech company uses autonomous mobile robots to distribute water, fertilizer, light, and heating throughout its greenhouses.
